Job Summary
M. Joseph Construction Renovation is seeking one skilled Carpenter to join and grow with our time. The starting hourly rate is just the beginning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to read and interpret residential plans. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring meticulous, high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project specifications.
Construct, install, and repair structures.
Install cabinets, drywall, trim with precision and attention to detail
Lay ceramic tile, and install bathroom shower surrounds
Utilize caulking techniques to ensure proper sealing of joints and gaps.
Fabricate custom woodwork according to project requirements.
Assist with masonry work as needed for structural integrity of foundations
Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square for optimal performance.
Skills

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Experience in cabinet installation techniques.
Strong skills in caulking for effective sealing of materials.
Ability to fabricate custom pieces using various woodworking tools.
Knowledge of masonry techniques for structural projects.
Capability to ensure plumb, and square installations in all carpentry work.
Basic understanding of electrical systems related to carpentry projects is beneficial.
Experience in restoring wooden structures or fixtures is advantageous.
