Muchalat Projects is seeking an experienced siding installer to join our Build Team. Here at Muchalat we specialize in Residential Multi-Unit Modular Construction. Constructing Modular Boxes under our 1 acre covered warehouse located in Cumberland. Allowing us to work all seasons in a dry environment out of the rain, wind, and snow! Once the Modular Boxes are complete at our Plant they are transported to site, where you may be a part of our assembly crew to put the final Building together; taking us to all parts of Vancouver Island and surrounding Islands. Responsibilities:
· Follow timelines and meet deadlines.
· Work alongside and independently with our Carpenters, Trades, and Project Management with a goal of optimizing efficiency.
· Review and follow Blueprints and meet latest Building Code requirements.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Install siding complete from building envelope to finishing which includes doors and windows, flashing, rainscreen, and all types of siding.
· Physically demanding handling heavy materials, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking.
· Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
· Follow all Safety Procedures and Practices. Safety conscious mindset.
Requirements:
· Siding/cladding/flashing experience required.
· Basic Tools.
· Regulation Safety Wear including: Hi-Vis Ves
