Job Description
New Legend Construction Limited is a building company located in Auckland. We are looking for one skilled and experienced carpenter to join our busy team.
Location of Work: Auckland
Number of Vacancies: 1
Type of employment: full-time, 30-40 hours per week
Days required: Monday to Saturday
Pay: $30 per hour
Your duties will include:
Construct and install temporary structures and supports
Read drawings and plans to determine dimensions and materials required
Plan how the work will be done using measuring and marking equipment
Cut and shape building materials using hand and power tools
Construct the frame, install rafters, joists, sub-flooring, wall sheathing, etc.
Install hardwood flooring, staircase, shelves, cabinets, windows, door trim, etc.
Renovate and do repair work
Explain steps, provide directions and answer questions about the construction processes to employees and subcontractors
Successful applicants will have:
At least 2-year relevant experience
Able to meet deadline and work under pressure
Great work ethic and a hard-working attitude
Can produce high quality work and focus on quality at all times
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
