Job description
Blue Collar Group is looking for experienced carpenters to work on upcoming modular construction projects throughout Western Canada. Blue Collar installs and demobilizes temporary and permanent structures, including multi-unit housing, offices, field units and modular schools.

Some of the job duties include: exterior crane setting, roofing, framing, foundations, stairwells, walkways, interior finishing, flooring, walls, interconnects, siding etc. Previous experience with the above duties is required.

Applicant must be a team player with a strong work ethic and have an exemplary safety record. Must have good communication skills and work well with both clients and co-workers.

All applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Be willing to travel
• Pass a standard drug and alcohol test,
• Pass an industry related physical fitness test,
• Be eligible to legally work in Canada,
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Have the following certifications:

· CSTS- Construction Safety Training System

· First Aid Level One

· H2S Alive

· Fall Protection

· Transportation of Dangerous Goods

Supervisory skills are an asset and priority will be given to those with equipment operator tickets such as telehandler, Aerial Work Platform and Skid steer.
