Job Title: Experienced Carpenter – Cabinet Manufacturing (1099 Independent Contractor)
About the Job:
A cabinet manufacturing facility is looking for a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience in cabinet building/installation and is comfortable working with the tools and equipment used in cabinet manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Read and accurately execute blueprints, drawings, and measurements
Build and assemble cabinets according to specifications
Operate woodworking machinery (table saws, routers, drills, etc.) safely and efficiently
Perform installation and final finishing of cabinets
Ensure quality control and meet production deadlines
Coordinate with the production team to complete orders on time
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry, cabinet making experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with hand and power woodworking tools/machinery
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and precision
Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
