Carpenter – Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a passion for new construction and restoring structures. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, installing a range of rough and finish carpentry assemblies and executing projects with precision. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and install structures primarily made from wood, including doors, trim, siding and other related finishes.
Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
Install various types of siding and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and functionality.
Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs accurately.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with our safety policies and the building code regulations.
Collaborate with Foreman/Site Supervisor and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Experience/ Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Excellent understanding of Industry standard timelines and scheduling.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Familiarity with maintenance related repairs and trouble shooting.
Strong skills in fabrication and siding application.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to lead and motivate others.
