Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, and carpentry. This role requires a strong work ethic, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment. The will contribute to diverse projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards across residential and commercial sites.
Duties
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately
Construct, install, and build structures such as walls, and concrete forms using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing surfaces
Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces
Cut, shape, and assemble materials using carpentry skills to meet project specifications
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in blueprint reading, concrete forming, siding installation, carpentry, and woodworking
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution
Experience in concrete finishing
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding conditions for extended periods
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
Valid drivers license
