This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require hands-on expertise with both hand and power tools, heavy equipment operation, and woodworking. The position is essential for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards across all projects.
Duties
Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project requirements accurately.
Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques, siding, framing, and carpentry skills.
Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely to assist with large-scale construction tasks.
Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials such as wood, concrete, and metal.
Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, smoothing, and curing concrete surfaces.
Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.
Weld metal components as needed to ensure structural integrity.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, concrete forming, or restoration work.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and power tools required for various construction tasks.
