Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings, where you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing structures and fixtures.
Duties
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Perform caulking to seal joints and gaps to ensure durability and weather resistance.
Assemble and fabricate components for roofs, siding, and other structural elements.
Lay tiles for flooring or wall installations as required by project specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct construction painting tasks as needed to finish projects to a high standard.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and measuring instruments.
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks over extended periods.
