On site job. Candidate should be well trained to handle all the equipments related to wood work and should have prior experience related to manufacturing of domestic and office furniture and should be flexible to accommodate to working condition.
Duties:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirementsPrepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring toolsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsBuild foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systemsFit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardwareMaintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishmentsSupervise apprentices and other construction workersMay prepare cost estimates for clients.
