Job Description
Quolus Construction Services is an industry-leading construction workforce supplier. We are B.C. owned and operated since 1993, focused on large multi-residential projects spanning the Lower Mainland.
Quolus Construction is currently seeking:
Skilled Carpenters with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, specifically within multi-residential construction (townhomes, wood-frame, or high-rise).
Core Duties include:
Tools & Equipment: Use of hammers, nailers, tape measures, squares, power tools, lasers, and laser levels.
Materials: Identify material types, cut and shape, join and install, and complete material take-offs.
Framing: Construct rough openings, beams and headers, joists and point loads, frame checks, and back-framing.
Concrete Forms: Basic layout and form building.
General Carpentry: Install doors and frames, windows, moldings, hardware, and perform steel stud adaptation.
Other potential specialty duties:
Steel Stud: Framing, back framing, and reinforcing.
Specialized Tools: Use of snips, drills, grinders, and powder-actuated tools.
Equipment Operation: Operate man-booms as required.
Job Requirements:
Physically fit for manual labour.
Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.
Intermediate verbal English.
Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience.
Ability to commit to full-time employment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must own and maintain appropriate PPE.
Must own basic carpentry tools and equipment.
