Job Summary
Seeking an apprentice carpenter to join our team. We are a growing company that offers lots of room for advancement. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different tasks and learn all aspects of the trade. Work could include roofing, framing, siding, deck building, renovations, interior and exterior finishing and more.
Qualifications
Carpentry and/or construction experience an asset
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
Valid driver's license required
Must be comfortable with heights
Responsibilities
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Measure, cut and haul materials.
Understand directions and execute tasks.
Estimate materials needed for projects.
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand work requirements.
Be able to work as a team or independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Wage will be based on experience. Willing to train motivated candidates.
