Are you an experienced Carpenter or Multi-Skilled Handy Person looking for a varied role within a prestigious Central London campus?
Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team in Bloomsbury. Working alongside a team of engineers and reporting to the M&E Manager, you'll support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a large and vibrant university estate.

What You'll Be Doing
• Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance across the campus
• Supporting minor electrical maintenance activities
• Completing painting and decorating works
• Undertaking plumbing repairs and general maintenance tasks
• Maintaining the fabric of buildings to a high standard
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Identifying opportunities to proactively resolve issues before they become larger problems
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
• Delivering an outstanding service to staff, students, visitors, and stakeholders across the campus

About You
Qualifications & Training
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade discipline
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a similar maintenance, facilities management, or property services environment
• Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building fabric disciplines
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing role and building positive relationships with clients and site users
• Experience within property maintenance, facilities management, or mobile engineering environments
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience using CAFM or work management systems such as Maximo
• Strong practical knowledge across building services and general maintenance trades
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to Health & Safety and safe working practices
