Job Description
Mersey Heart is a cardiology practice established in 2021 by Dr Greg Hasking.
The practice serves the growing region of Devonport, which has a population of approximately 45,000 people and lacks local cardiac services.
Our Mission
We strive to practice with integrity, high technical standards, and respect for patients, carers, and staff.
Our goal is to provide consultations and non-invasive diagnostic services for the community, as well as echocardiography for inpatients at the Mersey Community Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing cardiology consultations
Performing non-invasive diagnostic tests
Collaborating with medical staff at the Mersey Community Hospital
Dr Hasking is also a Visiting Cardiologist at Launceston General Hospital, with a focus on heart failure and echocardiography.
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must be eligible for specialist AHPRA registration in cardiology.
