Investor Relations Expert
About this role:
The Head of Investor Relations will serve as a key interface between bepay and its current and prospective investors. This role will lead fundraising communications, capital strategy planning, investor reporting, and relationship management across venture, institutional, and strategic capital partners.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the investor relations strategy in alignment with fundraising and growth milestones
• Manage communication with existing investors: reporting, updates, board materials, and financial narratives
• Prepare investment materials including pitch decks, data rooms, financial models, and market positioning reports
• Build and maintain relationships with VCs, private equity firms, strategic investors, and family offices
• Identify and engage new sources of capital across regions, focusing on long-term alignment with our mission
• Coordinate investor meetings, follow-ups, due diligence processes, and term negotiations
• Maintain a clear and compelling capital markets narrative, backed by performance data and forecasts
• Track market trends, competitor fundraising, and investor sentiment across fintech, crypto, and emerging tech sectors
• Partner with legal and finance to ensure accurate and compliant disclosure of investor-related information
Required Skills and Qualifications
This role requires:
• 10+ years of experience in investor relations, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or fund management
• Proven experience in managing investor relationships, fundraising rounds, or capital strategy development
• Deep understanding of fintech, payments, or Web3 ecosystems preferred
• Strong financial modeling, storytelling, and data synthesis skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Comfort working in high-growth, remote-first startup environments
• Ability to build trust with investors and communicate performance under both strategic and operational lenses
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA/CFA is a strong advantage
