Job Summary
Pursues full ships by maximizing utilization on each string of the network.
Allows efficient cargo flow in all ports of load, avoiding operational disruptions. Optimizes cargo routing.
Analyzes historical data and forecasts to maximize ships.
Proactively foresees risks and opportunities and plans accordingly across network.
Proposes options and highlights challenges to offer contingency on network string.
Has a strong focus on customers and service delivery.
Reduces costs and waste by a systematic data driven analytical approach.
Works closely with all internal and external stakeholder (ports, partners) to manage the overall network string efficiently and effectively.
This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role in supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc. (preferred)
Experience working in an international environment, a plus
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, good judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities
Team Player with professional attitude
Resilient and proactive attitude with passion to succeed and learn
Dynamic and goal-oriented
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive client and vendor relationships
