Job description
Location: South India and Remote
Hi! We are AMBOSS and we are looking for a Campus Communications Manager to join our team, and shape the future of medical education with us!
About AMBOSS
AMBOSS is a dynamic learning and clinical decision support tool committed to empowering medical professionals globally to deliver optimal care. Since our inception in 2012, we've harnessed cutting-edge technology to transform the way physicians acquire and apply scientific knowledge. Each AMBOSSian is passionate about being the champion of clinicians today - this motivates and unites us each day towards success. And what does success look like? When a clinician or med student tells us, “AMBOSS makes practicing medicine easier and enjoyable. I love what I do, and a big part is because of AMBOSS.”
Why can this position be exciting for you?
India is one of the largest medical education markets in the world, and is one of our company's focus areas for 2026. With a vast population of MBBS students- including both NEET-PG aspirants and USMLE candidates- India represents a major growth opportunity for AMBOSS.
Campus Communications Manager will be AMBOSS's feet on the ground in India, owning the regional strategy end-to-end: identifying which institutions to prioritise, building relationships with students and medical student societies and key opinion leaders, designing and executing on-campus/ off-campus events, and sharing market knowledge back to the larger team.
They will work alongside the existing India team to grow AMBOSS's presence across the country. This role should excite candidates who like being out in the field, who have a personal connection to Indian medical education, and who enjoy operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership over their region.
You will:
• Represent AMBOSS at roadshows, events, and conferences, and travel across the country for in-person presence
• Build and maintain relationships with students, medical student societies, and professors at universities across India
• Track event performance, gather student feedback, and share on-the-ground insights with the rest of the team
• Plan, organise, and execute on-campus and off-campus events, conference presentations, webinars, and student workshops
• Coordinate with the broader India team on regional execution and reporting
• During no travel periods, support with user engagement communications
You bring:
• A medical background, ideally a Medical Doctor who graduated from an Indian university, or equivalent, with deep familiarity with the Indian medical education system; having appeared for NEET-PG is a plus
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with comfort presenting to student audiences and engaging with university stakeholders
• Tactical skills- ability to adapt your approach, outreach style, event format, or timing based on your audience
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across your region within India for conferences, campus events, and university meetings
• Fluency in English and; working knowledge of Hindi or another major Indian language is a plus
You enjoy:
• Being out in the field at campus events, conferences, university corridors and networking with people
• Building genuine relationships with students and faculty
• Working with a distributed team across India and internationally
We believe that diversity is a powerful driver of innovation and progress. That’s why we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone—regardless of gender, age, ethnic or cultural background, religion, disability, ****** orientation, gender identity—is valued and given equal opportunity to thrive. We warmly welcome people of all backgrounds to help us fulfil our mission: empowering all medical professionals to provide the best possible care 🩺
