Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Store Manager to lead our new Bakery-Cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cafe management, with a focus on recruiting, training, and developing staff to achieve operational excellence. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise store operations to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of customer service.
Recruit, interview, and train new staff members while fostering a positive team environment.
Develop training programs that enhance employee skills in sales techniques and product knowledge in Bakery products & Coffee Bar service.
Manage inventory levels, including buying decisions and cash handling procedures to optimize profitability.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Scheduling to meet labour costs
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized store layout.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the shopping experience.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback.
Qualifications
Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the food industry.
Barista or Cafe experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent recruiting skills with experience in interviewing candidates for various positions.
Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
Proficient in cash handling processes and financial reporting.
Strong sales acumen with a focus on achieving results through effective leadership.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
