About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing DVP/PVP activity for Seat system using ECE/FMVSS regulations independently. Should be able to understand test results and perform CAE correlation activity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Build, set up, and execute complex finite element models of complete seating systems (including structures, mechanisms, foam, trim, and occupants).
• Perform crashworthiness and occupant safety simulations (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, Euro NCAP) including frontal, rear, and Seat Belt Anchorage simulations.
• Design change recommendations, VAVE, lightweighting and cost optimization support, failure mode identification, and participation in concept and design reviews.
• Simulation-to-test correlation, root cause analysis of test failures, simulation model updates, and validation standard establishment.
• CAE activity planning and execution, cross-functional and customer coordination, engineering change and product launch support and management of multiple simulation projects.
• Mentoring CAE Analysts, reviewing simulation methodologies and reports, conducting technical training and supporting team competency development.
• Technical report and presentation preparation, maintenance of engineering databases and records, document control, and communication of technical findings.
• Support process improvement initiatives, develop standardized simulation methodologies and participate in technical reviews and lessons learned activitie.
