We are a busy custom steel fabrication shop looking for a motivated CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from concept to completion. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in helping keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Program CNC milling operations using Mastercam
Create and optimize CNC plasma cutting programs
Review customer drawings and develop manufacturing plans
Estimate fabrication and machining jobs
Produce and revise shop drawings as required
Work closely with the shop team to improve processes and solve production challenges
Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements
Provide hands-on support in the shop as needed on a variety of fabrication and machining projects
Help maintain production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications

Required:

Experience programming CNC machines using Mastercam
Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
