Cabinet Maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. Experience in cabinet making or carpentry is an asset but not required. We are looking for someone with attention to detail, willingness to learn and a positive attitude. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with the owner, working together and also independently. There is no public transit in our area. The applicant will need their own vehicle or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Construct, assemble, and install cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans.
Operate various power tools and machinery, including drills, pneumatic tools, edgebander, and more.
Perform finishing processes such as sanding, and applying stains.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills

Proficiency in cabinetry techniques and woodworking principles in an asset.
Knowledge of measuring and power tools and their safe operation.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
