Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and manufacturing, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves crafting custom cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and working efficiently within a team environment. CNC, CAD, and design experience is an asset.
Duties
Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry.
Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components using hand tools, power tools, jointers, planers, panel saws, and other woodworking equipment.
Install cabinets and furniture on-site with precision, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure specifications are met within deadlines.
Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction processes.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during fabrication or installation processes.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise craftsmanship.
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a professional environment that values craftsmanship and safety.
