Job description
• Create & maintain balance sheet
• Manage account statements
• Record daily revenue & other numbers
• Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
• Expense Reports: Create and update expense reports, process reimbursements.
• Bank Deposits: Prepare bank deposits and enter financial transactions.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain digital and physical financial records.
• Invoicing: Issue invoices to customers and external partners.
• Payroll Documents: Review and file payroll documents.
• Audit Participation: Assist in quarterly and annual audits.
• Legal & Support: Handle legal documentation, petty cash, and support the accounting department.
• Office Tasks: Perform basic office tasks (filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail).
• Client & Vendor Communication: Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
• Transactions & Ledgers: Process transactions, issue checks, and update ledgers.
• Payments: Handle PF/ESIC payments, bank reconciliation, and salary processing.
• GST & TDS: Prepare GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, and hand over to the consultant; file TDS returns.
• Admin Payments: Process administration-related payments (electricity, gas, insurance, etc.).
• Dispatch Process: Manage dispatch, e-way bill, courier services, and weekly reporting.
• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 4 - 6 years of experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CA Inter candidate to join our team as an Article Assistant/Audit Assistant/Tax Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GST, Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax, and accounts finalization procedures. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of accounting and taxation, contributing to the candidate's professional development.

Responsibilities:
• Goods and Services Tax (GST):Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Reconciliation of GST data.
• Assistance with GST audits and assessments.
• Staying updated on GST law amendments and notifications.
• Handling e-way bill related tasks.
• Audit: Assisting in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Preparing audit working papers and documentation.
• Performing vouching and verification of financial transactions.
• Conducting stock verification and physical verification of assets.
• Assisting in the preparation of audit reports.
• Accounting Standards (Ind AS):Applying Ind AS principles in accounting and reporting.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
• Understanding and interpreting Ind AS requirements.
• Income Tax: Preparation and filing of income tax returns (ITR).
• Assisting in tax planning and compliance.
• Preparing tax computations and reconciliations.
• Handling TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance.
• Assisting with tax assessments and appeals.
• Accounts Finalization: Assisting in the preparation of trial balance, profit and loss account, and balance sheet.
• Performing bank reconciliations and other reconciliations.
• Ensuring accurate and timely closure of books of accounts.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports.
• Other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
• Pursuing or completed CA Inter examination.
• Strong understanding of GST, Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax, and accounts finalization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
