Are you a CA student who loves spreadsheets but also spends time thinking about content hooks? Do you want to see the "under the hood" operations of a Venture Capital fund while helping us tell our story to the world? We are a lean, fast-moving team of 5 investment professionals looking for a CA Industrial Trainee who wants more than just a standard audit or tax role. You will sit at the intersection of Finance, Investment Evaluation, and Brand Building.
What you'll do
1. Fund Operations & Compliance (The Core)
• Act as the primary bridge between the fund and our external audit, valuation, and accounting teams.
• Manage the fund audit process end-to-end, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
• Assist in valuation exercises for our portfolio companies.
2. Portfolio Management & Investments
• Portfolio MIS: Analyze monthly/quarterly financial health and performance metrics of our portfolio startups.
• Deal Evaluation: Participate in the due diligence process for new investment opportunities, including financial modeling and market research.
3. The Creative Edge (Social Media & Brand)
• Take ownership of our fund’s social media presence (LinkedIn/Twitter).
• Create engaging content that highlights our investment thesis, portfolio wins, and industry insights.
• Help us build a "voice" in the ecosystem that founders want to engage with.
Who you are
• Eligibility: You are eligible to start your Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines (cleared CA Inter and completed the required period of articleship).
• The "Numbers" Person: Strong grasp of accounting standards, financial statements, and valuation principles.
• The "Creative" Person: You have a personal brand, a blog, or a history of creating content. You understand what makes a post go viral and how to use tools like Canva, Notion, or basic AI video editors.
• The "Hustler": You are comfortable in a small team where no task is too big or too small. You are proactive and don't wait for a manual to get things done.
