Experience of carrying out computational analysis for internal and external flows (Flow velocity and pressure simulations, Heat transfer simulations, Aerodynamic simulations, Performance predictions)
• Good understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) theory and practices.
• Good understanding of performance characteristics of mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, engines, etc.
• Ability to carry out analytical calculations using first principles / engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate boundary conditions and define appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Awareness of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, casting, forging and machining.
• Team player.
