About the Role
This position does not come with supervisory responsibilities, allowing you to focus on your own growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring it's clean, neat, organized, and welcoming to all.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
Take care of stocking and cleaning duties, ensuring the store is always well-maintained.
Keep the gas pumps and exterior of the store clean and tidy, promoting a positive image for the company.
Support your colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess certain skills and qualifications. These include:
The ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A dedication to integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
The capacity to remain composed under pressure and uncertainty.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience with POS systems is a plus.
An willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A valid work card for the jurisdiction is required prior to commencement.
Language Skills
You'll need to be able to read, interpret, and communicate in English, as well as potentially write in English for various documents and procedures.
Certifications and Licenses
A valid Health Card is required.
A valid Alcohol Awareness Card is also necessary.
Physical Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you'll need to meet certain physical demands, including:
Standing for extended periods.
Lifting up to 45 pounds.
The ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
