Introduction:
This role is to deliver the strategic Legal Technology programme of work, which is delivered in an Agile way.
The primary function of this role is to work as an Automation tester in the Pune Legal Technology – CLM CoE team, working closely with other technical lead to actively contribute to application quality. Colleague should have good knowledge of Automation testing using Selenium, well versed with tools like JIRA, GIT and having basic knowledge of iCertis will be an added advantage.
What will you be doing?
The primary function of this role is to develop and support the LDS application stack for Legal technology.
• Hands on experience as .NET developer with familiarity and good knowledge of ASP.NET framework, .net console applications and windows services , WPF framework, Angular JS, SQL server, MVC patterns, WEB API, Jquery/Javascript and HTML/CSS.
• Sound knowledge of version controlling tool git etc along with JIRA/ Confluence understanding.
• Should be having good knowledge on writing unit tests using VS framework or any other testing framework and knowledge of Team City is needed.
• Participate in requirement analysis with stake holders and collaborate with team to build and develop them. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code and improve existing software.
• Test and deploy the application packages to UAT and PROD environments.
• Complete tasks / deliverables within schedule constraints (for self)
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Capability to take ownership of Project and raising related risks, problems to etc. to relevant stakeholders and taking initiative to solve them.
• Produce documented & tested software for delivery to production

Skills that will help you in the role:
Proven experience as a .NET full stack application developer with familiarity and good knowledge of ASP.NET framework, .net console applications and windows services , WPF framework, Angular JS, SQL server, MVC patterns, WEB API and Jquery/Javascript.
- Should be having good knowledge version controlling tool git etc along with JIRA/ Confluence understanding.
- Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Should be having good knowledge of .NET technologies both on the UI side and server side is desirable.
- Great communication skills and a good team player.
- A degree in engineering, computer science or IT is preferred. Banking / finance or Legal experience advantageous.
- Knowledge of WPF would be an added advantage.
- Good to have if worked on Agile scrum team, involved in Sprint planning, retrospective, daily stand ups etc.
