Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum, DOE
Location:
Rutland
Our client, a fast-growing manufacturer based in Rutland, is seeking a Buyer. The Buyer will be responsible for all production and non-production operational purchasing activity. The individual applying for this position should have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, and be able to work on their own initiative.

Benefits:
• Basic salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum

• 20 days holiday increasing with service to 25 plus statutory days
The Buyer Role:
• Source new suppliers and place production orders
• Order non-production items
• Support Purchasing Manager
• Create Purchase Orders on the SAP system
• Expedite Purchase Orders with suppliers
• Schedule Purchase Orders in line with current demand
• Book goods received onto SAP
• Any other reasonable tasks deemed appropriate
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Previous, recent experience as a Buyer ideally in the manufacturing industry
• Experience with SAP
• Able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word in particular
• Methodical and ensure Procurement procedures for the Company are adhered to and enforced on all levels
• Well-organised and focused
• Good interpersonal skills
