Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Representative to join our team. As a BDR, you will play a key role in driving Carboledger’s growth by identifying and engaging prospective ESG teams in mid-sized to large enterprises, particularly in the US and EU. Your job is to spark interest, educate prospects on how our AI Agents work, and set up high-quality meetings for our sales and partnerships team.

Responsibilities

Prospect Qualify: Identify key decision-makers in ESG, sustainability, compliance, and finance roles using tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, and other lead-gen platforms. Curate and own databases of customer contacts

Outbound Outreach: Craft personalized outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, to introduce Carboledger’s value proposition.

Educate Engage: Explain how our AI Agent platform solves common ESG pain points such as data duplication, manual reporting, and regulatory overload.

Feedback Loop: Share learnings from customer conversations to improve messaging, ICP fit, and product direction.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or a related role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them for a non-technical audience.

Self-starter with a growth mindset and high energy.

Interest in climate, ESG, sustainability, or AI a big plus.

Familiarity with sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, Notion, etc.). Read more
