Profile Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating requirements into functional specifications for software development.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, including clients, users, and internal teams.
• Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and quality assurance, to define functional requirements and ensure alignment with business
needs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses to assess the potential benefits, risks, and costs associated with proposed solutions.
• Create detailed business process models, use cases, and user stories to effectively communicate requirements to development teams.
• Facilitate and lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
• Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and existing software functionalities.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts, assisting in their professional development and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and software development.
Desired Specifications & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven min. 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst role in the IT software industry.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with relevant project management tools such as JIRA; Wire-framing tools such as Figma; Other tools such as Draw.io, Fig Jam.
