Business Process Engineer - Remote
Job Description
The Business Process Engineer supports enterprise efficiency initiatives by conducting targeted diagnostics, process analysis, and quantitative assessments to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. This role is hands-on and analytical, playing a critical part in converting data and observations into actionable insights that drive process re-engineering and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Support rapid diagnostics across processes, functions, and value streams. Analyze data related to cost, volume, cycle time, demand, rework, and capacity.
Perform root cause analysis to identify drivers of inefficiency and complexity. Support opportunity sizing and prioritization.
Document current-state processes using standard process mapping techniques. Identify handoffs, pain points, redundancies, and control gaps.
Support development of future-state process designs under senior guidance. Maintain process documentation and artifacts.
Create basic analyses, summaries, and visuals to support recommendations. Help translate analytical findings into clear, business-friendly insights.
Support re-engineering initiatives through execution and implementation phases. Track actions, milestones, and risks related to process changes.
Participate in working sessions, workshops, and on-site diagnostics as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, or program management related roles preferred
Experience in Finance, Operations, or Corporate Functions preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, presentations, and BI Tools
Strong attention to detail and organization
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to process mapping or improvement work
Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement concepts
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 91,400 - 152,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
