Job Description

The role
This is a player-coach role. You are the first person on the commercial side, so you carry a number yourself from day one building the list, making the calls, closing the room, and staying with the account until the customer is genuinely using the product.
As we grow, you build the team underneath you. You hire them, you set the standard, and you coach them by having done the job yourself first. We do not want someone who manages from a spreadsheet. We want someone who still gets on the phone and shows the newest person how it is done.
If you do this well, you are running the commercial organisation. There is nobody above you blocking that.
What we are looking for
You have sold to business owners and good at building and maintaining relationships.
You have led or mentored sellers, formally or not, and people got better because of you.
You are as comfortable doing the manual groundwork as you are closing a room.
You know the difference between a signed contract and a customer who actually sticks.
Bonus: you have spent time in property, staffing, franchising, logistics or construction.
Wrong for you if
You need a pipeline handed to you, a marketing team feeding leads, a guaranteed base, or a team already built for you to manage.
Compensation
Commission-based with a share in the company, structured so that you earn from your own production and from the team you build. We discuss the specifics in person with serious candidates.
