We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Representative to join our growing Australian team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding Microlise's presence across Australia, developing new business opportunities and building relationships with organisations operating in the transport, logistics and fleet sectors. Working closely with colleagues across APAC and the UK, you'll help prospective customers understand how our technology solutions can improve compliance, efficiency, safety and visibility across their operations.
This role would suit an ambitious sales professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, building relationships and delivering results. You'll have the autonomy to develop your territory while being supported by an experienced global team and a well-established technology business.
What will you be doing?
Identify and secure new business opportunities across Australia
Generate and qualify leads through outbound activity, networking and referrals
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Collaborate with internal teams to maximise pipeline and revenue opportunities
Convert inbound enquiries and follow up marketing-generated leads
Maintain accurate pipeline management and CRM reporting
Attend industry events to build brand awareness and generate opportunities
Drive continuous improvement in sales approach, messaging and market engagement
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in Business Development, Account Management or B2B Sales
Track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
Experience selling SaaS, technology, transport, logistics, telematics or compliance solutions highly regarded
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Confident communicator with the ability to present technical solutions in a clear, commercial way
Organised and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently as part of a global team
Australian working rights required
