Job Description
We are a well-established financial institution seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Banking Hub team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the banking hub’s customer base, and deepening existing client relationships. This role plays a critical part in driving growth and achieving the banking hubs financial and strategic goals within the banking hub and Post Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across retail, SME, and/or corporate segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and referral partners.
Promote the banking hub products and services, including business bank deposits, cash management, ATM and digital banking solutions.
Lead customer acquisition initiatives through targeted campaigns, market visits, and networking events.
Coordinate with community bankers to ensure timely operations and service delivery.
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform strategy.
Achieve individual and hub-level sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and banking hub policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus).
Preferably 2 years of experience in sales and customer facing roles.
Should be leading a team.
Post Office experience is an added advantage.
Solid knowledge of banking products, services, and compliance requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Driving License is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
