Roles and Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION / DESIGNATION Business Development Manager - BancassuranceJOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Manager has the responsibility of driving sales and achieving thesales target for the assigned bank branchesTarget Achievement• Drive sales and achieve targets through the bank branches• Selling company’s productSales Support• Support the CRO in his sales effort, in terms of generating benefitillustrations, accompanying on client calls if required etcRelationship Management• The Bank is the key customer of the Business Manager and he has toengage an open and trusting relationship with the BranchManagers/officers/staff• Engage the employees of the bank branches in regular discussions totransfer knowledge about insurance, Company’s product offerings andunderstand their issues/ concerns about selling insurance (if any)• Ensure that all service requirements are met, medicals facilitated andcustomers are satisfied.Lead Generation• Spearhead all lead generation initiative from the bank – whether through walkin, data-mining, referrals and others.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSQUALITATIVE • Achieving sales targets• Activate & Penetrate branches for Insurance Sales• Arranging training programs for bank staff on products and selling skills• Increasing productivity of bank branchQUANTITATIVE • Achievement of Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly and Annual Sales TargetPREFERRED CREDENTIALS WORK EXPERIENCE 2-4 years In Insurance / Banking / Finance / FMCG / NBFC / Pharma Sales andFreshers. AGE Below 35 years QUALIFICATIONS Diploma, Graduates / MBAs of formal education is desirable.
