Collaboration

Key Result Areas and Activities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business product owners and end users) to understand data and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams on the delivery of data products.
• Coordinate with Testing team and manage testing cycles, including user acceptance testing.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Adept at managing requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and overseeing program initiatives

Requirement Analysis
• Analyse and triage business requirements to determine scope and data sources.
• Design and implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analysing data requirements.
• Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, and work with the project management team to prioritize deliverables.
• Generate monthly performance reports and use them to identify areas needing improvement.
• Present and explain findings to executive leadership.
• Conduct retrospective of processes and observations and drive the improvement journey.

Documentation
• Create business and functional requirement documents (FSD, BRD, etc.) detailing the metrics and KPIs needed by the business.
• Experience creating and managing documentation in Confluence or equivalent
• Experience creating and reviewing the project development and testing reports, risk acceptance document, production runbooks, stakeholder update documents, etc.

Agile Management (Good to Have)
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
• Create and manage Epics and User stories, including acceptance criteria in JIRA.
• Understand the purpose of Sprints, Resorptive, Scrum meetings, etc.

Work And Technical Experience
• Experience in conducting detailed business analysis to identify the business needs of stakeholders and develop solutions for business problems.
• Can evaluate, suggest and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Recommend and develop new business strategies and models to improve business performance.
• Experience in performing analysis, project scoping, and work with the project management team to prioritize deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT groups, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Interact with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into operational improvements and system requirements.
• Ensure smooth functioning of various project phases and keep client technical and SME stakeholder aware of the overall progress
• Discuss the refined methods with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
• Experience in designing and defining the lightweight custom processes and systems for data analytics and requirements management
• Experience in creating process maps, process design, procedure blueprints, data flows using tools – Visio, LucidChart, Miro, etc.
• Collaborate with project managers and other staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Experience in creating frameworks, standards and procedures for business processes
• Ensure accountability among team members by assigning responsibilities and tracking.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and engage with business function leads / teams

Must Have
• +-12 years of experience as Business Analyst with strong understanding of the life science, manufacturing and financial domain
• Ability to understand user requirements, analyse Data Sources and create Source to Target Mappings that can be easily used to create automated data feeds driving visualisations that deliver real value and actionable insight to users.
• Proficiency in business process modelling tools (e.g., BPMN, UML)
• Expertise in using data flows tools – Visio, LucidChart, Miro, etc.
• Ability to contribute to estimations and project plans across data engineering and analytics teams
• Understanding of Data Analytics processes and life cycle
• Understanding a data visualization tools like Power BI
• Ability to write SQLs for data analysis
• Very good Documentation Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills [Verbal and Written]
• Ability to convert business requirements into implementation ready Epics and user stories
• Working experience into Agila methodology and good understanding of agile principles, scrum, sprint, etc.
• Experience with project management mythologies and prioritization techniques
• Tools: Power BI, Snowflake, SAP, SQL, JIRA, Microsoft office suite

Good To Have
• Understanding of AI solutions
• SAP, SAC, DataSphere or Workday knowledge and experience.
• Hands on knowledge with data querying, data analysis, data mining, reporting and analytics will be a plus

Qualifications
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, IIBA) is added advantage
• Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
