Position: Business Analyst
Experience: 5+ years in Portfolio Management, Bonds Platforms, AIF and Fund Accounting, and Wealth Management Platforms

About the Company
Seeking a Business Analyst with extensive experience in fintech solutions like Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Wealth Management Platforms, Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Bonds Platforms, and Fund Accounting Solutions. The candidate must have hands-on experience in working with similar companies and a deep understanding of the Indian financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical developers. Your responsibilities include:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis
Collaborate with clients, product managers, and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for fintech platforms (Portfolio Management, Bonds, AIF, Fund Accounting, etc.).
Conduct gap analysis and identify areas of improvement in clients' existing systems and processes.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
2. Product Development Support
Work closely with the development and engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Define user stories, workflows, and use cases for fintech platforms.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on client and market needs.
Provide support during the software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
3. Domain Expertise in Financial Platforms
Leverage domain expertise in:
Portfolio Management Systems (PMS): Investment tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
Bonds Platforms: Fixed income products, bond trading workflows, and analytics.
AIF and Fund Accounting Software: NAV, capital calls, distributions, and compliance reporting.
Wealth Management Platforms: Client relationship management, advisory tools, and investment solutions.
Stay updated on regulatory changes, compliance requirements, and industry trends in the Indian financial ecosystem.
4. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project goals.
Conduct product demonstrations, client workshops, and training sessions for end-users.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance
Assist in creating test cases and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the software meets business requirements.
Identify and resolve issues during the testing phase to ensure smooth go-live.
6. Market Research and Insights
Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and innovations in fintech software development.
Recommend new features and modules to enhance product offerings for Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, and other relevant domains.
Educational Background
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
MBA in Finance or a related discipline is highly preferred.
Skills Required:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fintech software development company or financial services domain.
Proven experience in developing or implementing Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Wealth Management Platforms, Bonds Platforms, AIF, or Fund Accounting Software in India.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of financial products like bonds, mutual funds, AIFs, PMS, etc.
Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and APIs (preferred).
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines.
Team player who can work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working in or leading fintech players in wealth and portfolio management in India.
Exposure to regulatory frameworks governing AIFs, PMS, and mutual funds in India (e.g., SEBI guidelines).
