Senior Analyst/Lead Business Analyst (Commercial Banking)
Location
Bangalore; Mumbai
Experience
3-6 years of experience in data and business analytics with commercial lending products
Job Duties
The role entails supporting a global bank, in analysing their commercial lending products (such as mortgages, credit cards, loans and overdrafts)
Supporting commercial loan life cycle operations such as loan origination, account/portfolio management or loan collections/resolution
Creating / maintaining interactive dashboards to visually represent and review key metrics and performance/trends for the underlying loan portfolio
Generating MIS and business insights by deploying available data and applying visualization tools/techniques
Regular interaction with the client to discuss data analytics, visualisation dashboards as well as workflow
Works closely with business stakeholders and various teams to understand business needs, defining, creating and managing requirements
Academic Qualification
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech); Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology (ME/MTech)
Skills and Traits Required
Strong understanding of core finance and accounting concepts. Knowledge of financial services commercial banking operations (ideally in a global bank set-up) are required
Prior experience in commercial loan life cycle operations such as account/portfolio management is required
Experience in MS Excel (Advanced or Intermediate) is required
Experience in Tableau is required
Strong process orientation and time management skills
Ability to communicate analytical thoughts in a crisp, concise and precise manner
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to participate/contribute as a team player
Prior experience in Commercial Loan Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Client Management is preferred
