We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team at BUDSSMOKE. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your passion for cannabis and commitment to educating customers will help create a welcoming and informative environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in navigating the product selection process.
Educate customers about various cannabis strains, products, and their effects to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
Maintain an organized and clean display of products, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products that may benefit customers.
Handle inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves and filing product information as needed.
Assist with heavy lifting of product shipments and restocking as required.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulations to provide knowledgeable service.
Requirements:

Cannsell certification is required upon hire

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Familiarity with cannabis products and their effects is a plus.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store aesthetics effectively.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
Proficiency in computer operation for using POS systems and managing inventory records.

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
