🚀 We’re Hiring: Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway Engineer
📍 Location: Bengaluru, India
🕒 Experience: 5+ Years
🔍 Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway Engineer with strong experience in API security, traffic management, and enterprise-grade API integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Layer 7 API Gateway solutions in high-availability environments.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and manage Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway solutions
• Implement API security policies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, mTLS, and API keys
• Develop and manage API proxies, routing policies, and traffic rules
• Handle API lifecycle management including versioning, deployment, and monitoring
• Integrate APIs with backend systems and third-party services
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure performance, scalability, and high availability of API platforms
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams
• Support automation and testing (Selenium exposure is a plus)
• Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks
✅ Required Skills
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway
• Strong understanding of API Management & API Security
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanisms
• Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, XSLT
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
⭐ Good to Have
• Selenium or API automation experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker
• ITIL or API security
