Branches play a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank (NTB) customers, and are also core drivers of the Banks customer engagement strategy across products and servicesAbouttheRoleAs a part of the branch banking team, Deputy Branch Operations Heads are responsible for providing over-the-counter service to fulfill the needs of existing as well as potential customers. They are required to identify and handle sales opportunities, process customer transactions quickly & efficiently, and introduce customers to alternate channels wherever possible. They will be required to use their inter-personal skills to build business relationships with the potential customers.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining high service standardsHandle customer queries and provide appropriate solutionsEngage with customers and generate revenue by promoting and cross-selling retail banking and third party productsManage relationships with mapped customers to increase the depth of existing relationshipsAchieve sales targets as assigned by the organization on a monthly basisComply with KYC/SEBI rules, regulations, and legislation governing the bank.Ensure administration of the branch by directing daily operations like cash, clearing, transfer, ECS/RTGS/NEFT, SB, CD, FDR, Deposits, account opening & customer service.Control and monitor leakage of income, office accounts and anti-money laundering sEnsure compliance with banking rules, regulations & procedures, review vault register and overdue managementReview branch operations reports and track exceptional transactions.Handle internal and external audit processes and attend audit queries immediately.QualificationsGraduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute.6-10 years of experience in the BFSI sectorRole Proficiencies:Knowledge of banking regulations and normsMaintain a high level of knowledge of banking products and servicesGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesGood networking and relationship building skills
