Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Duties
Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to designated routes.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling materials.
Experience
Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Background in warehouse operations is preferred.
Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is advantageous.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Experience with heavy lifting and moving materials safely is essential.
Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is beneficial.
