About the Role
We are seeking a CPA-level Bookkeeper / Financial Controller with strong experience in US accounting and bookkeeping to manage end-to-end financial operations. This role requires someone highly detail-oriented, confident in communicating with stakeholders, and capable of handling both hands-on accounting work and higher-level financial oversight , including investor reporting.
This position is ideal for a senior accounting professional who can join immediately , work PST hours , and communicate fluently in English with internal teams, leadership, and investors.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping (US GAAP)
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for US-based entities
• Maintain accurate general ledger , journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and best practices
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Oversee AP / AR processes , including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Monitor cash flow, aging reports, and payment schedules
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions
Financial Control & Reporting
• Act as a financial controller , ensuring accuracy, controls, and data integrity
• Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and variance reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning
Investor Relations & Reporting
• Prepare investor-ready financial reports and summaries
• Support investor updates, data requests, and financial documentation
• Communicate financial performance clearly and professionally
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
• Provide general administrative and financial support to leadership
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Mandatory Requirements
• CPA qualification (active or equivalent) – only CPA-level candidates will be considered
• Proven experience with US accounting and bookkeeping
• Strong hands-on experience with :
• Accounts payable & receivable
• General ledger & reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work PST business hours
• Immediate availability to join
• High level of accuracy, ownership, and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with US startups or investor-backed companies
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
• Experience supporting audits, tax filings, or investor due diligence
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
