Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will contribute to our commitment to quality and customer service.'
Responsibilities:
Manage daily bookkeeping activities including data entry and transaction recording.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger accounts regularly.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing processes.
Maintain accounts payable records.
Enter client payments and deposits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP.
Support tax preparation activities.
Prepare and file sales tax.
Utilize the accounting software SAP B1 (training will be provided).
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or other accounting software.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
Good communication skills.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
Ability to type 40WPM
Fluent in English
Strong business writing skills
