Job Description
BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER
Experience: 4– 6 Years
Location: Mannarkkad , Palakkad, Kerala
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage installation, maintenance, calibration and servicing of biomedical equipment.
• Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers.
• Maintain equipment records, service reports and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and NABH requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Support departments in the safe and effective use of biomedical equipment.
• Maintain inventory of biomedical equipment and spare parts.
• Assist in equipment procurement, inspection and commissioning.
• Participate in internal audits and quality improvement activities.
ELIGIBILITY
• B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 4 – 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Good knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of NABH requirements and biomedical equipment safety will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
