About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Billing and Planning Engineer to lead and deliver construction projects from planning through to successful handover. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent coordination ability, and a solid track record of managing projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
Quantity Surveying certification / training from NICMAR, BHADANIS QS Institute, or RICS (highly preferred)
You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and control of assigned construction projects, ensuring effective coordination between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to final handover
Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and take corrective actions to meet deadlines
Prepare and control project budgets, track costs, and manage variations
Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors
Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements
Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews
Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
Manage procurement, material planning, and resource allocation
Review and approve contractor bills, measurements, and payment certificates
Prepare regular progress reports, MIS, and presentations for management and clients
Resolve site issues, disputes, and coordination problems promptly
Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, and project close-out
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Architecture (or equivalent)
5–12 years of relevant experience in construction project management
Proven experience in managing residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
Experience with project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred)
Good understanding of contracts, BOQ, billing, and cost control
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure
Strong knowledge of safety standards and quality management systems
Preferred Qualifications
Quantity Surveying certification / training from NICMAR, BHADANIS QS Institute, or RICS (highly preferred)
Experience in high-rise, industrial, PEB, or large-scale projects
Strong practical knowledge of quantity surveying, estimation, rate analysis, and billing processes
Familiarity with ISO, quality, and EHS systems
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Experience working with EPC
