Job Description
Summary
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Bilingual Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports learning through play, exploration, and bilingual communication (English and Spanish preferred).
Duties
Plan and implement daily lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Incorporate both English and Spanish in classroom routines, songs, and lessons to build language exposure and understanding.
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and respect.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child’s progress, classroom activities, and goals.
Model appropriate language use and encourage children’s participation in both languages.
Assist with meal times, toileting, and transitions in a nurturing and organized manner.
Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plan, and incident documentation in accordance with state licensing requirements.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to uphold the values and educational standards.
Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Minimum two years of experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and positive behavior guidance.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Nice To Haves
CDA (Child Development Associate), TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit), or higher credential in Early Childhood Education
