Job Description
LEGAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED
Criminal and Child Protection law office is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant.
You will assist in:
- Preparing documents with clients and lawyers;
- Accounts, basic bookkeeping;
- Day to day tasks within the office;
- Provide support to the lawyers of the firm.
Further duties include, but are not limited to, corresponding with Crown Attorney offices and other law firms, managing the firm's calendar, etc.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Proficiency with computers
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with disenfranchised and disadvantaged people is a significant asset
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Must like dogs ( we have a full time dog at the office)
