Responsibilities
The Patient Services Coordinator I plays a crucial role in healthcare facilities by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to patients, visitors, and medical staff
This position involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule patient appointments and update scheduling system accurately
Answer phone calls promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
Verify patient information and insurance coverage
Maintain and update patient records and ensure confidentiality
Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed
Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues or escalate as necessary
Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
Provide support for other administrative tasks as assigned
