Qualifications
A Bachelor of Social Work or Masters of Social Work degree is preferred. A degree in Social Science from an accredited University, in combination with several years’ experience in Child Welfare will also be considered. Post-secondary education in a Marketing Program would be a highly desired asset.
Knowledge of Child Welfare & Provider standards, systems and processes, including the CYFSA and licensing regulations.
Sound knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of Child Protection, Child Youth Service, Adoption & Kinship Workers.
Working knowledge of Adoption & Kinship processes and ONLAC.
Working knowledge of inter-provincial agreements and Quality of Care standards.
Sound knowledge of available community resources.
Sound knowledge and ability in group facilitation, including experience in creating and delivering engaging presentations and training.
Demonstrated experience in high level customer service.
A thorough understanding of anti-racist, anti-oppressive principles and practices are important.
An appreciation of and ability to work with a diverse community.
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is required.
Bilingualism (French/English) is required. Proficiency will be tested.

Rémunération Le salaire, qui varie entre 74 330$ et 94 400$, selon expérience.
Compensation The salary range will be $74,330 to $94,400 commensurate with experience.
